You cannot improve what you do not measure: only by accurately calculating one’s impact is it possible to set concrete goals and identify the most effective solutions to achieve them. This is the starting point for the new project through which Unigrà intends to measure CO₂ emissions in its palm oil supply chain.
Unigrà has indeed launched a collaboration with the agri-tech company xFarm Technologies to develop an ad hoc calculation model based on cutting-edge measurement technologies, which will allow for the quantification of GHG emissions throughout the entire supply chain, with a specific focus on the cultivation phase.
This project represents a further step in Unigrà’s decarbonization journey, aimed at defining impact reduction strategies based on increasingly accurate data.
