Digital farming is the future

Unigrà took part at Agri Data Green Summit 2025

Data, AI, and natural resources: the triangle on which the future of agriculture is being built. Unigrà is convinced of this and invests in digital transformation in order to make food supply chains more sustainable, transparent, and efficient. Data collection, predictive analytics, and advanced digital tools are now key elements in addressing climate change, managing natural resources, and reducing environmental impacts.
These topics were discussed on October 8th 2025 in Milan, during the fifth edition of the Agri Data Green Summit, an event attended also by Unigrà’s Sustainability Department. The summit, organised by xFarm Technologies (Unigrà’s partner), represented an important opportunity for dialogue among businesses and the research community..
Unigrà’s participation in the Agri Data Green Summit anticipates the launch (scheduled for 2026) of a joint project between Unigrà and xFarm to calculate GHG emissions across the palm oil supply chain, an initiative that shows Unigrà’s transparency and sustainable choices.
